About me

My name is Anup Gurung. I was officially born in Nepal in 2038. If you aren't Nepali then you must be wondering how come 2038, but well if I convert it in to english date then it will be 1982. This make sense isn't it? There is a story behind my age which I will keep it a secret out here. I grew up in northern part of Katmandu, close to the river called "Samakushi". In this area people still knows me because of my "FIRST MONSOON SWIMMING" in that river. Well, I fell into the river and drifted down about number of km "you will not believe number of KM if I mention it here so I will tell you when we meet and if you ask :)" , I was only 3 years old. After long swimming some farmers found me and left me behind because they thought I was dead. My mother managed to find me after an hour or so. She didn't wanted to believe the telling's, she just picked me up and ran half an hour to the hospital and I started my new life. Today water is my element and rivers are my life supporting friends. I love being on the river and getting wet but I still don't like being under water.
