Nepal 2009
Nepal visit 2009 was a real blast. I was visiting, working, volunteering, competing, teaching and of course enjoying my god spared one time life.
Every time I go to Nepal there are full of surprises. I mean the evolution of Nepal and Nepali. I did see a lot of positive changes as well as negative changes. Actually talking about positive changes, I met enormous number of foreigners volunteering in Nepal. Which is defiantly helping Nepal and Nepali to follow the right path. If I have to talk about negative changes then I can probably write a Bible. One of the big change that effected my personal life is the tallest building that they are making close to my house. On a clear day I could see mountains miles away but now I no longer see those mountain. I hope they will at least paint mountains on that building.
I took a walk and a drive almost all around Katmandu looking for my old play grounds. Nope, there are non left. Every single playground I use to play on are filled with building. Whole Katmandu basically looks like wild moshroom field. I wish some of them were magic moshroom. These days when you walk in Thamel you rarely hear street boys wisphering "hashis good price my friend". Instead, you hear "koke fixed price". There are endless things to talk about Katmandu but the good this is , once you get out of kathmandu in to remote himalaya, it seems like same old peaceful country.
